I owned 3196 for several years, and have pictures that you may want to document its restoration. Also, if you still own 3196 and want to sell it, I'd like to talk to you

Default Csx 2075

Here's what CSX 2075 looked like at C&C:

The wrinkles in the fenders and cracks in the paint do not show up in the picture. The car is ready for another restoration.
There was no ID tag on the footbox. I tried to get a pic of the VIN off the steering box mount, but it is not discernable in the pictures.

regards,

Jeff

I recently purchased a 1966 Cobra 427 motor that appears to be from CSX3196. Let me know if anyone wants to discuss it. I'll probably end up selling it, but would prefer to align it to the original car.

Looks like you are trying to link the motor to this car?
there is another tread on this.
Sound like odds are your block is a boat block.
Need to post Block ID#

Your topic about the engine pretty much proves that it was not as you claim. The other topic has the details but it is most likely a boat engine.

PS. The original car has its original engine.
