I don't have any details or schematics of the FIA coolers, but I do have info on the 427 Comp and S/C; shouldn't be much different.
A small Coventry cooler element was hung in front of the pinion, supported by the inboard seat mounts. The Dana rear had fittings, top and bottom, for hoses that were "draw and return" lines... thru the cooler and a Bendix Fuel pump, controlled by small toggle switch on the dash.
The cooler's lines came up thru the floorpan, next to the seats, and the hoses ran thru the rear of the interior, back to the diff thru the bulkhead sheetmetal.
Some cars had dual pumps; most cars had aluminum ducting, shaped like a dustpan that shrouded the cooler.
