About 100 of the big block cars were built with 428's. Most have had them replaced with 427's. In general, serial numbers 3201 through 3299 had 428's. I counted 11 cars in the latest registry that still had their original 428's. They were sold as "427 Cobras", but the spec sheet listed the engines as 428's.
