1966 Sebring 427

Hi all,
Can someone check their registry and see if you can find out which 427 CSX ran the 1966 Sebring race as #7 driven by John Bentley, Arthur M. Latta, and Herb Byrne? I'm also curious as to what colour this car was originally (or for that race).

I don't have a registry yet - I have a new one on order.

You won't find that information in the '97 registry, because as of publication we didn't know the VIN. We do now, and the upcoming book will discuss it. It was CSX 3176 and it raced in its original Rangoon red paint.

Many thanks, Ned. I've suspected that it was either red or blue from the Friedman B&W pics that I've seen.
