Default Ghia cobra picture?

Maybe this car gets mentioned periodically.
It was bodied by Ghia I think on a 427 chassis.
I believe it was dark blue with a tan interior in the color the Italians
call "goose beak."
It had a lift off hardtop not unlike the Maserati Ghibli spyder. I think the fact the top copies the Maserati Ghibli spyder is a clue that Giorgetto Giugiaro designed it because he did the Ghibli coupe and spyder but it's not on his list of car designs.
I also read the chassis was extended 6".
One obscure report said the body was taken off in Belgium and a normal Cobra body put back on. Did anybody ever hear that? I guess I have to find the Belgian Shelby importer, who just wrote a book on his racing exploits (raced a Shelby in the 24 Hours of LeMans).
I would be willing to buy a glossy picture of ithe Ghia Cobra for an article or trade other factory art for it.

this car is not to be confused with the ex-Willment racing 427 Cobra that was hit and a 1953 Ghia body called Supersonic was put on it. That car appears occasionally in England to scare the wimmen and children. The Fiat or the Cobra, not sure which, once belonged to the widow of Sir Malcom Campbell, land speed record ace who was killed on the water while seeking a record.

Not is it to be confused with three other 427 chassis bodied by A.C. Cars Ltd. in their wandering path to come up with the car that became the AC 428.
Any clues appreciaed.

Default Website with pictures of the 427 Cobra by Ghia

Here's pictures of the same car on this website. Would like to buy copy of any other magazine that ran a story on it since Style Auto bit the dust some years ago but maybe some other magazine that ran a story about the '65 Turin show is still in business.

Thanks history fans for caring about the older cars

Damn, who'd do a thing like that. Is nothing sacred?

I thought all this info has been in the public domain for a few years - just ask SAAC or buy a back-issue of their annual glossy mag. Belgium indeed....
