Default Any significant differances between recent GT500 concept and production?

I remember seeing the Mustang Concept GT500 and it seems like the only differences at first glance was the hood vents/scoops, and the lettering on the rear. Is there any other things I missed?

When I look at the car shown around '03 called the Mustang GT concept, it has a whole lot of differences between that and the later production cars, like "flattened" '67 Shelby style scoops on the sail panels, different front turn signals, etc. Do you think this was built on an '05 body shell or was a hand built clay/fiberglass model? The silver coupe and red convertible must have been drivers as they show pictures of them in the press kit rolling along (of course I know in Detroit they have an elaborate "moving background" to create this effect as well.

Same question about BULLITT. Did Ford ever have a BULLITT concept car or just unveil the production model and that was it as far as advance promotion? Was the Concept car, if they had one , much different. I have a funny incident about the BULLITT. I borrowed one for a week and it was summer and hot and when I went to shift gears the metal shift knob seared my hand....so much for the metal shift knob!

Another BULLITT related story. In England a few years ago they had a Ford called the Puma and did a TV commercial featuring Steve McQueen driving the car, using some process where they stripped in his face onto that of an actor actually driving the car. I hope Ford brings that idea to the US for a commercial on the new BULLITT

The 05 Mustang GT concept car was much different than what made production. There were a lot of body changes, mostly the nose and tail section were much different. I went for a ride in the red car; it does a whopping 4 mph. It's powered by an electric motor .

Default 4 mph? I guess that's what they mean by pushmobile

I couldn't figure out why the silver coupe that looked shelbyish wasn't adopted for producton. Maybe at that time the contract wasn't inked.
