Well if you stop over my place, you can walk my greyhound if that will make you feel at home. She likes to be a lap dog too.
Hmm, ... do you like to cook?

I'll bump my order up to ten if it'll help get this going.

Trevor,
Put me down for at least one (maybe two, if you can keep the price under 4 digits). Just to show that I'm serious, can I still get an autographed copy of your last book? Let me know how to get ahold of you, and where to send the money.
Yes, I am SERIOUS.
PS, You can stay in my guest room if you pass through the area while doing research. My wife makes awsome cornflakes.

I might hold you to that....
Let's say that this idea will be getting my full consideration and if it looks a practical proposition, then we'll get the show on the road - and I'll be begging for help no doubt! It's vitually impossible to get these kind of books into production without a co-publisher to help offset the awful up-front costs. Leave it with me.

Kind of puts the vaunted "hemi" in its place when you take a full accounting of the history.

Sorry to butt in. i think keeping it ALL COBRA427 is really the main stay of this idea

Back off, Traveller. We're getting Trevor the Magnificent maneuvered into doing a 427 COBRA book against his better judgment. Don't scare him off by making it too complicated.

Traveller, you are indeed a gentleman and a perceptive one at that. Nobody tell Trevor that this happened, OK?

Keep us posted, Trevor.
I'll send you a bottle of 20 year old scotch to help while you're thinking about it.
