Default Power Rack

Jegs Mailorder and I believe Summit racing sell power rack kits, 535.00 for Jegs Power rack 16" o.c. I believe its chromed, and the pump painted with a nice v-belt pulley or for a couple $ more a Serpentine setup. Believe it or not some race car drivers do run p.s. but they might not admit it, Come on get out of the stone age boys. And I certanly wouldn't be concerned about 10lbs or so most of these cars are way over cubed, torqued, and H.P.'d can't stop the black round ones from braking loose in 4th. line! Also these new units prevent oversteer. I'm ordering next week.

Power assist, isnt the difference just that one has a "pressure regualtor" and the other doesnt?

I'm ready to order! I want a quick ratio for the TRACK and desire GOOD feedback, like "assist".

What to do???

Ernie

Default Those more learned in power steering can answer the tech aspect..

But the effect of power steering is to add power to slow speed driving (when it senses somehow that it is needed)

And to act almost like non-power steering at speed, when it is not needed...it's great. Even our commute car (a Saturn ) has it..
