Hello every one!

I just registered as a part of your community since talking to a few of you over the phone and becoming addicted again to the cobra. I've spent hours lately reading old posts and looking at your beautiful cars... my wife thinks i've found a new love on the computer and she's right. You seem to be a fun bunch with great stories and look forward to meeting a few of you at London. Since my birthday is coming this summer and i knew i was treating myself to yet another car, it only has become clear that its an ERA beginning for me. After talking with one of you, i think you have me convinced to try the build myself... we'll see.

By now all of your hammers have been shipped... 43 in all. Thank you and Thank you mooch for introducing me to a cool place and giving me a chance to give back to new friends with the same passion... spinner wheels !

i'll be around from time to time learning all i can and hopefully my wife will understand it may have beautiful curves and a great ass but not to worry, its tail pipe is on the sides.

Thanks for these! A friend in another forum asked about the little hammer. Is it solid brass? I didn't want to scratch it up because it's too cute!

Bought mine some time ago from some other site and wouldn't bash my spinners with anything else. I'm sure I paid more than this guy is charging. What a bargain!

I don't know how many of those lead shot dead-blow hammers I broke and dinged my spinners with before I got the lead hammer. The only thing to use. Of course, you still have to anti-seize the spinner and wheel (Permatex) or you'll have to use more drastic measures. Somewhere on CC is a thread with some pretty brutal methods demonstrated.

I'm sorry to hear you paid alot more and its true that my retailers do charge over 70.00 for our hammer and thats only because the price i sold club cobra is the price they pay, but i only did it to say hello to the forum and i promised those retailers who made a comment i wouldnt do it for long.

if you have one of mine, send it back i'll replace it for $20 shipped right back to you.

Anti seize is a must, it makes the only job so much easier and you wont flatten your hammer as quickly. As tested in our shop, this hammer (6lb) will remove and replace 44 wheels before its time to replace the hammer head.

Just wait until you see the hammer I sent back for recasting. I think that one exceeded your shop test.

glad to see you got your monies worth! i'm sure the handle is still intact and the head is just pulverized? theres a date on the handle, it will tell us how long it took to get to that point. we have hammers that come back that are over 30 years old and still hitting strong

the little hammer was included in some of your boxes at random. they were left overs from a recent tool show in orlando. They are solid bronze and perfect for those little jobs that require a tap without damage. enjoy.

that is a really neat and very handy hammer to have regardless where you keep it. The pattern used to cast them is approaching 60 years old now so this year it goes in for re-tooling so that the lines are crisp and clean again.

Glad I jumped on the wagon and ordered mine early this week. Been
looking for one and it will be waiting for me on my next trip to Texas.
It will be residing in #142's trunk.

you guys from california will see a warning lable on the handle. Last year some non for profit organization tried to sue us under proposition 65. something about a lead hammer possibly being harmful to the air quality but we ended up being exempt because we have 8 employees and the expemption was fewer than 9. But to be on the safe side every hammer shipped west of the rockies has that warning label... so guys please dont eat the hammers
