Question Quicktime bellhousing - covers for openings?

Hope this is not too dumb of a question, but my background is all in auto trans.

With the Tremec TKO600 I just installed, the Quicktime Bellhousing has what appears to be an access hole for the starter. Is there a cover for this? Does it need a cover? I worry about things getting into the bellhousing and causing problems (water, rocks, small animals).

On the other side where the fork goes through, same question. Is there a rubber cover or something to put here?

There is a cover available for the starter. I have never looked into one for the fork.

The cover is a nice spun powdercoated piece see Brent for it at B2 Motorsports. I just ordered and returned a GM clutch fork boot but haven't found one that fits yet.

FYI the new bells from QT will have these included, or so I have been told. A cover is not necessary from a general use standpoint though. Even less on the fork.

Scott, PM sent back to you.

Jay,

I don't think they're included with the new bells, unless you order the 6.1W adjustment window option. Then they're included and welded on.

Doug, you have a PM coming your way.

Very cool, thanks for the information! I am going to find out why mine did not come with the cover. Thanks for the PM, will get a cover from you if I can't get one from the place I got the bellhousing.

Mike, sent you a PM back.

If anyone else needs anything, bellhousings, clutches, etc., just let me know. I will beat Summit and Jegs' price by a good margin and will try to beat/match anyone else's price.

I just received my RM-6060 about a month ago and it did not come with a starter cover. (I don't need one either, just FYI).
