Default CMC Corba Help!

I am billding a CMC Corba and in need of some help. I would like to put an IRS in and run bigger tread. I would like to have bigger front tires so can I run bigger wheels (They want me to run 14"x 6"?) What do think?

Default 15"

Cliffcub
I also am building a CMC.If all goes well I pland to test fit the body this weekend.I plan to put 245/15 on the front and 265/15 on the rear.I have been keeping in touch with Tom Beroth,he has a lot of experience with these kits and has helped many times. He told me to get with him after I have the body on (test fit)and he would walk me though the modifcations necessary
to be able to use 15"on all 4 corners.I will let you know how it goes.
email me at blandsons@yahoo.com or give me a call at home.

CMC eh? Any parts still on "Backorder"?

Most street rod suspension shops have IRS kits. Look in Street Rodder Magazine, start checking web sites and getting catalogs.

FFR allegedly has their IRS that can be retrofitted to other Mfg.'s kits.

The size wheels you use depends on what suspension you use. 14 x 6 is ridiculous. Most Cobras use at least a 15 x 8, 5 lug. Some are running 17" wheels.
