Default PAINT Question

I have an NAF 1967 Cobra replica and the data plate reads "Paint No. Red L" Can anyone help identify this paint code? I am trying to find matching touch up paint.

If you can get the Cobra to an automotive paint shop (ours here in the town where I live is an A.J. Foyt paint supply) they can use a spectrometer and mix up an exact match. I had this done at the local A.J. Foyt store and there is no way to see the pits anymore, the match was that good.

If your avatar shows the car under discussion, though, I'd bet it is Rangoon Red. Take a look at the car in my avatar....look similar? Yep, the paint shop cross-matched the formula for my touch-up paint to Ford Rangoon Red for a 1967-1973 Ford/Mercury.

Cheers!

Dugly
