Default rebuild

Just remembered the big problem making rebuild usually necessary on the original Konis is that particles from a deteriorating seal or gasket clog up the piston port holes. I can't recall exactly which item deteriorates that bad, but the piston did not have a seal, so it was something else.

Default Original Koni dampers

Hi all, i need some photos of the original Koni dampers from the 60's that were offered on the competition 427 Cobras, as they were fitted to the car. Would anyone be able to help? I basically need a photo of them to tell me if they had adjustable spring platforms and then to send to the FIA as evidence if possible?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I have a set on my work bench. I'll try to remember to post a pic tonight.
