The mechanical gauges are sealed units, and cannot be cut or altered (except at the factory, I guess). You should be able to remove the sensor end from the oil pan and reroute the line the way you want it to go. The next time you change oil would be a good opportunity, when there is no oil in the pan. Be careful not to kink the line or put too sharp a bend in it. Good luck. |
