I've had an Orange top since I built my 289 in 2001 and it is still going strong. Since I know I will have to replace it soon (at least in the next five years) I have been researching options. Optima had big problems with plate separators shorting after they moved to Mexico and that gave them a bad name. That problem got fixed and as near as I can tell they have been good after that. I think the problem period was around 2006. I still wonder if they are made as well as they were before about 2005. When the time comes I will also consider an Odyssey.
