T-5 removal
I have to rebuild a transmission tunnel on my car and looking into making it removable to let the transm. coming out through there rather the engine bay...sounds easyier!
But a frame cross member is limiting the transmission's possibility of backing out by about 6 inches that is keeping it straight without any prying up effort...any further back would demand some lifting-up ,prying-up effort.
Anyone can tell me if this small traveling space backwards is enough? If not I will not bother with the more complex "dismantable" transm. tunnel !
Thank you.
