Cobra Make, Engine: ERA #795 427 S/C completed Jan. '14 - '68 FE 427 side oiler

Any idea what this is?

I changed the oil and this was stuck to the magnetic drain plug. I attached two photos to show it has a slight concave shape. I strained the oil and found no other metal, the engine is a side-oiler and runs good - no symptoms. Any clues?
