Default E-Brake button missing

Good Morning Cobra Club and thanks for allowing me to join.
I purchased a 2021 Backdraft BDR RT4 from the original owner yesterday (build # 2172), it has 921 miles and like new. It's Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White Stripes and has the Iconic 427 in it.
The E-brake button is missing but the inner spring etc is still all in the handle. Is it possible to replace the button (and if so where would I source such part) or do I have to replace the entire e-brake handle?
Any and all help (and any & all other offers, tips and/or advice) is very much appreciated, this is my very first Cobra, have wanted one for more than half a century and final made the dream come true.

Default Welcome!

Todd, Welcome to the site. If you don't get a quick reply (or the site goes belly up until it's rebooted), then try TalkCobra forum, that's where most of the living knowledge base from this forum has moved to due to CC issues.

I thought I'd followup on this thread that I started for anyone in the future that encounters this same e-brake problem I have (push button on e-brake popped out of handle and missing). I contacted Iconic parts and was told once the button pops out of handle housing there is no way to re-secure the button back down in handle housing due to the retainer housing around the top of handle that actually holds the push button in place. However Iconic has the hand e-brake assembly in stock for $119.00, so I ordered a new complete e-brake handle assembly and it's out on UPS truck for delivery today.

I love these forums but I also hate when a thread is started but then goes silent and then all of us owners don't ever get the end of story and/or remedy to the initial problem, therefore I thought I'd finalize this thread with how I ended up finishing and completing the beginning problem I had with my e-brake handle.

Thanks to everyone that helps contribute to all of us Cobra owners.

Happy & Safe driving!
