Default Drive shaft bolt ?'s

I received my drive shaft from EM and after being assured twice that the bolts would be shipped with the unit , my shippment arrived less the required bolts.
Does anyone know what bolts are required to secure the shaft to an 8.8" axle.
Without exception my shippments from EM have had wrong or missing parts. I know I'm not the only one who has had this experience, but it has gotten D@@@n frustrating. I bet I've spent at least $100.00 over the course of my project on fasteners and other small items that I paid for but never received.
Oh well, I'm done venting. Any info on what type of bolt I need to buy would be appreciated.

Roger

Default Bolts

Roger,

I think you can pick those up at your local speed shop for about $6 or $7. If not call Summit @ 1-800-230-3030, I think mine are 7/16" X 1 1/2".

Don't go pick up any at a salvage everyone tells me that you should always replace your drive shaft bolts when you replace your u-joints.

Good Luck!

I got a box of 4 of them from a local Ford dealer. Threw the box away when I installed driveshaft or could give you part number. Bolts did have a small hex head on them.

Verify thread size with a similar bolt or tap. Ford uses half english and half metric bolt sizes.

Another way would be to use a grade 8 capscrew from the harddware dept of Sears, Home Depot, or True Value. Local Speed Shop might have them in a Moroso or ARP also. Loctite 'em in though.

Roger,
Here is the Ford part number for drive shaft bolts:
# N800594-S100
They are 12point heads with thread lock on them.
