Default 289 ida idle jetting

Could someone out there advise of where I'm going wrong with my idle circuit? I'm running a 289 .030 over with 10:1 compression. I've got a solid cam with 238 degrees duration. I'm running 48 idas with : idle jets .60 idle jet holder 120, main jets 155, air correctors 210. Chokes are 37mm. The idle jets are engraved with only one number, 60, not 60 f8 if this makes a difference. The floats are o.k. and at the same level. The carbs flow the same amount of air and the linkage appears to be correct.

The car runs great above 2900 rpm, but stumbles badly when pulling out, or trying to launch at about 2500 for a drag race start.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

You didn't mention what you bypass valves are...they would create the situation you are talking about because you are dumping too much gas into the carb.

The valves at the bottom of the float bowls are.50, the emulsion tubes are F7.

Go to a 55 bypass valve. How are you checking your float height?
