Candle, I bought a set of them couple months ago. No data, but
Intake side is huge. Exhaust side needs lots of work. Material cast in to form wall thickness around cylinder head bolt obstructs
1/4 of the opening as you look into gasket side of exh. port.
I inserted thin wall brass tubing (.017) into head bolt hole and
burred til I struck brass.
The heads came very rough. The first thing if you buy them assembled, take them apart to remove all the aluminum chips, everywhere. Bowls are not blended. All corners are square
Lots of burring and blending. Plan on spending 5 hrs. with a 1/4"
burr, and as long as you can stand blending bowls and polishing
exhaust. I put about 20-25 hrs into mine, they look great now.
I have not had them on a flow bench. Out of the box BIG improvement can be made.
Are all heads like this? I saw a picture of edelbrocks afterwards
from what I could make out they cnc cut port openings and combustion chambers. I think the runners cc a little smaller. I recently heard about Blue thunders. ...But mine say Cobra Jet. Cast into each end of the head. Very cool.
