Default clutch conversion question

I currently have an EM cobra with a 351w, tremec tko, and a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing. After blowing a seal in the throwout bearing after just 3100 miles, I've been advised by more than one person to change to a hydraulic assisted mechanical clutch.This is the second time I'll be dropping the tranny to do this. The first time was a bad bearing to start with(didn't know to test it before installing). Being that I'm not a mechanic, although I built my cobra from frame up, I would like to know where I can learn the most to do this myself. Any help would be appreciated.

HP Books has a pretty good book on drivetrain called "Clutch and Flywheel Handbook" by Tom Monroe. their p/n 1030. Classic Motorbooks sells it, as does B dalton and most booksellers. Maybe Amazon? Costs 19.95. Pretty good for the average home DIY'er.

With a 351W, you shouldn't need a hydraulic clutch. A late Mustang cable clutch should work fine, and be hassle free after that.

I've been running a Tilton bearing for over 12k, and some track time also. I've never had a problem and it is as strong now as when I first installed it. Never adjusted either.
