Gas Tank Leak
I finally filled the gas tank up enough to realize there is a leak. The gas tank is a modified GM tank that I purchased from my kit manufacturer, Everett- Morrison. Since E-M is no longer answering their phones, I will need to repair the leak myself. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? I know where the leak is coming from (bad weld where they capped off the original filler). Do I remove the tank and have it rewelded? Is there a tank sealer that I can use? Duct tape? I want to do this right the first time so I don't have to pull the tank 6 months from now and do it again.  |
