Question Distributor won't fit...
Well, getting closer everyday, and then another hurdle.

Did anyone have a problem installing their distributor, and getting it to seat the final 3/8" onto the oil pump shaft?

I've read several things online about ways to get it to work. Everything from shaving the end of the MSD 8582 distributor(because it's tappered), to dropping the oil pan.

any tricks that you recommend?
