If the Vic Jr will fit under the hood, that's the one I would run.

I believe I would run an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake.

I'd use the victor jr. but you will also have to go with a dropped base air cleaner. I use the one from Moroso. Fact is, you'll probably have to use a dropped base with any high rise intake.

The Weiand eXcellerator is like a low-rise version of the Victor. It fits very well under a Cobra hood. Its very similar the the Victor, but made to run to about 6,500rpm at peak HP. The Victor is a true race manifold and is made to run to 8,000-8,500rpm.

The Victor Jr is all done at 7000 to 7500 rpm on a 347 with flow #s like yours. If you don't already have them and if you have the valve to piston clearance I would go with a 1.7 rocker arm for some more lift or step up a bit on the cam and bring the lobes closer together. If you are planning to rev over 7500 rpm go with the Super Victor or the Funnel Web.

How high do you want to rev your motor?
Do you have a forged or cast crank?
Which rods?
Block mods?
Are you willing to pull the heads?
To rev over 7000 effectively I would recomend a mechanical flat tappet or mechanical roller cam.
If you don't want to rev past 6500 the cam you have is fine and you could get a little more lift by changing rockers to 1.7s. You could end up spending more money than you excpected, though.
Think about the real world expectations you want, then we can pick out a cam.

i only have a scat cast steel crank,i was told they are good for 7500rpm(so 7500 would be my limit) but i dont know how true it is,i have scat h beams, what do you mean by block mods?why do you ask if i would be willing to pull the heads?

347,
I only mentioned pulling the heads if you wanted to go to a bigger cam. You would need new (stiffer) valve springs or if you wanted a roller cam the heads need to be removed to get the lifters in.
Block mods would be things like a main cap support (girdle), studs, or aftermarket main caps, etc.
For the rpm you intend to run (7000 to 7500) the cam you have should work fine. A cam with 252 to 255 deg intake/exh with about .575" to .590" lift on a 108 to 110 lobe center installed at 104 to 106 deg would really make it a top end screamer without sacrificing too much low and midreange power. It would effect daily driving type usablity though. I would try the manifold and carb first then decide if you still want more go go. The Victor Jr or the newer Performer RPM air-gap that mkcobra mentioned would work well. I recently installed a RPM air-gap on a 351w and it ran like gangbusters. Great manifold.
Good luck with your project,
--Mike
PS or, you could do this!
