LeMans Fuel Cap
My replica kit (West Coast) came with a small diameter fuel filler. I'd like to change to a large diameter LeMans style roller cap. However, I can only find pictures of the exterior surface and no information on what's underneath. Fill tube diameter, length and angle are missing. I also want to protect from fuel leakage during hard accels/cornering. The fill location will be center between the trunk and the cockpit and fill into a fuel cell installed directly below that surface. Right over the rear axle.
Any experience or installation instructions that would help here? I need to understand the interface with the cap/filler since I'm designing a custom fuel cell for fabrication.
Thanks,
Chuck
