If you have a Sears Service Center near you, go there. The one we have here has rebuilt stuff,everythig from tools to video cameras. All these are Sears items returned for damage or defects,they have been rebuilt and usually sell for 50% to 60% of the origianl cost and they give you a warranty to boot.... Five years ago I bought an air imapct gun,use and abuse it and it is still going great,three years ago I bought a Sony video camera and it also has worked great....
Some of their stuff looks brand new without a scratch on them and some show their use,but all are rebuilt to new specs.... I try to stop by every three or four months,cause you never know what they will have in stock...
