Question Wheel Selection???

I just purchased a Shell Valley car and did not give any thought ahead of time to the wheels I would use.

The Trigo wheels will not fit on the car, rear end would need narrowing.

I am not a fan of the exposed lug nut heads on the Team III wheels.

Does anyone else make a 5 nut wheel where the lug nut heads are hidden??

Your thoughts are welcome.

Romanbuilt,

I just uploaded a picture that shows my wheels, which hide the lugs as you mentioned. I can email you more pictures, but the basics of it are, they are a standard steel wheel with an insert that is held on by the spinner. They are realistic looking, but much cheaper. I can't remember who made them, but I think that you could get them on Superformance cars until a few years ago, when they were discontinued.

I could be convinced to sell them, with the Goodyears that are mounted, but shipping might make it unreasonable.

Romanbuilt,

Look through my gallery and see if you can ID my lugs. I was quite impressed when I first saw close ups of these wheels because I had to ask if they were bolt ons.

Let me know what you thhink.

They are 8 x 15 and 10 x 15 with a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt patern. I am not sure on the backspacing, but I will check.

They fit my Midstates pretty well. I will post some more pictures as soon as I can get them down to size.

I have a spare set (the set with the Goodyears), but haven't really though about price yet, I will think about this today and get back to you tonight with $$$ and back spacing.
