Default Mating aftermarket harness to EFI

PLease Help!!! I'm buillding an FFR and I couldn't stand the thought of all those unused, old, dirty wires being used so I got the "Carb" kit and want to mate that to the engine and cmputer harnesses. I thought it would be fairly straight forward but I keep getting frustrated!!!
Any suggestions??

Thankx,
Ned

Hmmmm,,,,,"carb" kit? You will probably get more help on the FFR site, but this is interesting.

Tell me more about this "carb" kit thing your talking about. I have re-wired so computer applications before, slight possibility I could help. But your in pretty deep, no doubt about it!

Ernie, Thankx for the reply!!
I've tried the FFR site, but this seems like the one topic nobody wants to touch!?!? I've gotta believe that it has been done many times but the best information I can find is on Ford Truck sites, I think when I sit down and study all the stuff I've found, I'll get it going, but it hasn't been as easy as I had thought!

FFR will supply their kits as "EFI" or "Carb" the main difference is the carb comes with a "Painless" chassis harness kit to wire up the car, while the EFI is intended to use the donor Mustang harness EFI and chassis. I my case, the parts I would have gotten in the EFI kit were insignificant.
There are folks who will strip out the unnecessary wiring form the donor harness (like power door locks, window, airbag, radio, etc, etc. etc.--about 30+ POUNDS!!) for about $300 or more.

My plan is to clean and re-wrap the donor engine and computer harness (done), and then mate it to the 12 circuit aftermarket harness. I have foung that there are only around a dozen wires to connect but it will make my think hard to get it done!
I'm looking for sone one who has done this and documented the
procedure. I haven't gotten into the wiring far enough to have a problem...yet!!!

Thankx,
Ned
