Thumbs up tranmission sealant

I posted some time ago that I have a leaking Richmond tranmission and many of you "out there" had helpful advice. One included using Threebond as a sealant gasket. When I contacted Threebond they were very helpful. So I have Threebond and am waiting for warmer weather.
My car is an ERA and the people at ERA were helpful too.
To backtrack, the transmission leaks a couple of spoonfulls of oil a week along the split (seam). I had a small leak until a shop tried to fix it by tightening the bolts, instead making it worse.
Meanwhile, I also talked to the people at Richmond who said they used Hylomar gasket sealant.
Depending on the leak, it is a matter of cleaning out the old sealant, cleaning with brake fluid, and applying the Hylomar, which will stick to oily surfaces and works within minutes, according to company information.
Only problem is where do you get the stuff?
Has anybody used it or do you know where to get it?
Thanks.
Irv

Irv,

I have used the stuff for years. It is the only stuff that will seal a Hewland.

It is a British product and fairly hard to get in the states.

Pegasus has a replacement here.Hylomar
