I installed them on my car, no problem. They work well, but the set I received did not need trimming, they were actually a little smaller than I expected. The pad for the seat back didn't come up as high as I thought it should. It really doesn't matter though because if you need to turn them on, you need to be wearing a jacket anyway. The bottom cushion is what keeps you warm.
If you don't have a heater in your car, this is more economical and much easier to install. I think they are definitely worth it.
