Default lower radiator hose connection

I was wondering if anyone has a slick way to connect a lower radiator hose.

I was thinking of trying to use some AN fittings and hoses to dress the whole thing up, but am running against some part availability dilemmas. I was considering welding on an AN male weld bung to the lower connection, then running hose from there. The trouble is that the connection is 1-3/4 ID (-24 AN) and I can get a weld bung, but no aluminum hose connections! I'd hate to reduce the thing down to 1" which is where I found most of the fittings commonly available. I also have a couple of tight bends to go around the frame and steering rack, then back up into the pump.

Any ideas, pics, part #'s?

I would stay away from the large AN fittings. They do not allow for much compliance (flexability), and they are very pricey. I chose to fabricate a "hose" from aluminum mandrel bends, ring the ends and attach it with 4" pieces of straight hose. By doing this I was able to route the hose through the front structure and around the steering rack without any rubbing at all. As a side benifit if the rubber hose ever needs replacing it will be easy to find replacement piece of hose. Check my gallery.
