Find I run at 130 in the coooler months here. This will rise to about 185 -190 during the hotter periods.

I have a dash over ride switch to pull on the fan if I feel it may come up quickly. Particularly in stop start traffic where I just pull it on straight away to prevent any heat.

The engine oil cooler fitted to the front of the lower radiator also has made a big difference. I am guessing it dropped the temperatuire by about 30 or more to the above temps now.

I am using a BIG aluminium radiator though. Anti boil coolant etc.
