I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder. All of the Superformance tops I've seen, I liked. I'm a softtop kinda guy though.

Boy talk about beauty being in the eye of the beholder! Rick Youngs tops are nice, but look as nice as an SPF top?

Hal Copple got some kind of custom top for his SPF that sounded pretty cool. Zip down rear window? Side quarter windows in the rear? It seemed like he liked it WAY better than the "standard" SPF top.

,,,,maybe I need glasses,,,,

I agree. Not only ugly, but not very functional. Please let me know if you find some thing better. Do you have any experience with the function of the newer 3 bow tops?

Thanks

I have a newer 3-bow top and it's much lower profile than the old tops. It doesn't make the car look like it's doing a girl-push-up what with its a$$ all up in the air and stuff.

I like it. It does a good job of rerouting the rain from directly hitting you to coming in at a slower speed and soaking your outboard knee and shoulder. I like that.

I just drove in the rain for an hour with one of the newer ones. Seemed like quite a bargin for the money.

Default soft top

in 1984 when i was" single" I used a Aurora Cobra as a daily driver. That car had a good looking top. I live in Maryland and I need a top and I want a top that looks like it was designed for the car. I haven`t received my "street version" SP yet and I have not seen the new top in person. What threw me is the original top did not have three bows...
