I am not psoitive but I think the MSD is like the Jacobs I use in the case of plug gaps. I run a Jacobs Pro Street and they recommend a gap of .015 over the normal gap of .035. I played with different gaps and finally settled on .048 as that seems to work the best, both from feel and reading the plugs. I didn't index my plugs either and if you want to squeze out that lasy 1/2 horsepower you can do that.
