What problem do you have with the engine mounts? Can't get a good picture headers are in the way. Jim

Thanks alot for the photo of the wiper motor, the help on the motor mount is more for a piece of mind really. I measured everything up as far as header placement next to the footbox and all and the motor and tranny went in fine, but ever since I installed the fiberglass tunnel piece with the hole already cut from the factory for the shifter, I have been second guessing
myself because the hole for the shifter and the shifter is not lining up correctly. I'm afraid that I'm too far forward with the engine mounts I'm going to have to reshape the hole to make it all fit, and I'm assuming that B&B knows where that hole should be for the tranny I'm using.

The hole for the shifter was off a little on mine too. I had B+B mount my body on the frame. If you need a measurement for the motor mounts I'll see what I can do. Jim

It's hard to know where to measure from so I'll try to paint a visual. The inside of the motor mount (the verticle side that lays against the inside of the frame) is angled to match the angle of the frame at the front of the main rails, my motor mount is welded approx. 1/4 inch back from the front of the main frame. Placing them there gave me about two inches or so clearance at the end of the header (where it mounts to the sidepipe) away from the footbox.
I never could draw very well, I hope that made sense, if not let me know and I'll try again.

Thanks alot, Terry

Hard to get a decent measurement with headers in the way. If your headers are 2 inches away from the footboxes, that sounds good. Jim

My wipers were already installed at B & B. The motor mounts we put in. I don't know if it is the best way but here is what we did. Basically we fit the mounts to accomidate the motor. We put the motor in the car (still on engine hoist) had the mounts on the frame and adjusted accordingly to make sure headers were in the correct postion and to accomidate spacing in the front for the timing pully. Really there is only and area of about 2-3 inches that the mounts are going to go in. After everything was in place we tack welded the mounts into olace to keep there for the moment. Pulled the motor and finished welding. Also, we had the tranny on the motor to make sure everything was going to fit properly. Make sure that you have adequate room for your shifter so you are not to close to dash. Don't want to install something twice Good luck.
