Kevlar or Organic Clutch Disc Material?

Has anyone installed/used a Kevlar clutch disc? What are the pros & cons compaired to a clutch disc made with Organic materials? i.e.: better friction?, longer life? etc.

All I can tell you is that a couple of badly - done (by me) full-bore starts smoked my "kevlar" plate. It still works OK, but I reckon I took several 1000's of miles of life off it. Bite point moved considerably upwards on the pedal.

How this would be with an organic plate I cannot really tell, but Kevlar is not proof against ham-fistedness.

I do rolling start runs now.

Thanks Wilf, I think I'll opt for the organic. Is dosen't seem that many have tried/used the Kevlar type.
