Default Dark blue cobra paint identification?

I am looking for a paint code for a cobra in a blue so dark it is almost black. Ron Randel had an ERA with white stripes and red team stripes, number 98 that I think is beautiful. I think it was ERA 148 but I am not sure. The car is VERY similar to Steve Jaques car in PA. It could be the same car. Anyway I realize that this info is a bit fuzzy but maybe someone can help.

The color is "Nightwatch Blue". Reach out to Ron Randall at Metal Morphous...last I heard he still has the car.

Also, here is a dark blue that is not quite as dark in full sunlight but turns very dark in indirect sunlight and black in the evenings and night:

You might want to take a look at '98 Rolls Royce Royal Blue Metallic or '98 Rolls Royce Ming Blue and experiment a little. This car is offically labeled as the former but I think the real mix was the latter.

Mine looks black when viewed from the "shady side." Check out my gallery.

This ERA car on Cobra Country is actually dark blue, looks black. I think this is the car once owned by Turk........maybe he can tell us the color or code.

It is a stunning car for sure.

dlampe,

Mine is 2001 BMW Orient Blue. Going by memory, I recall that the BMW paint code is 317.
