Default Urgent '65 Mustang question

What is the panel that creates the outer edge of the tail light hole? This is the panel that attaches to the tail light panel and quarter panel behind the quarter panel extension.

Thanks for the help.

The chrome? Or the quarter end cap? Or are you referring to the part under the car called the trunk floor drop off? Or the brace from the trunk floor to the tail light panel?

A lot of parts in your general area...

either would be great, but the name would probably be best. I can't find it in Year One, or on line, but if I knew what to call it I could track one down.

Thanks,

I found a picture, are they part of the quarter panel, or just attached to it?

Here is the tailight panel

Here is the quarter panel

The part your searching for is actually part of the full quarter panel that wraps around and gets spot welded to the tailight panel itself. if yours are rusted out, it's time to find a nice full quarter panel to replace it with. Same goes for the Tailight panel itself, don't patch it, replace it as they are inexpensive........

Hope you find this helpful.
