Default Air Ride Rear Suspension

My Cobra has an adjustable Air Ride rear suspension. Together with the shock setup, the rear of the car doesn't "squat" when I stomp on it. The system has about five inches of travel and makes a big difference when accelerating and cornering.
It doesn't seem like its a common setup but I would recommend it.

I don't know the manufacturer of the air suspension, but when I take it to Brad's Speed Shop we can get under the car to find out. While she's in the air, I'll take some photos too.
I can tell you that it has an air valve right behind the rear wheel so I can increase/decrease the ride height. From the invoices I do have it looks like some custom links were made for the rear end to accomodate this setup.

Under what circumstances do you see yourself increaing the height? Isn't there an optimal setting?

Actually yes, Turk.

Some of our bro's like the "high rider" look on their cars.

I know my baby certainly handles better when she has her ass in the air by about 8 inches.

I know a guy locally used air bags from a Lincoln Mark VII on his Shell Valley. Jim

Turk, the sidewalls of my rear tires clear the rear fender by half an inch, so when the bags are deflated and I punch it, the body will "squat" and hit the tire. The man I bought my Cobra from probably encountered this situation and instead of getting skinnier tires or adjustable shocks, he spent some dough on this custom setup. There's no wasted body flex on acceleration. Is there such a thing as overbuilt?
