Question Obd2, Can

I need a scanner that can read OBD2 and the newer CAN, and already have a palm doing nothing. Does anyone have experience with the palm based setup? The ones on ebay all come with the palm, which drives up the price. It has to be portable. Obviously not a COBRA question, but I can't think of a better group of smart guys than here. Thanks!

Sunpro makes a scan tool that can read the OBD-2 computers. Not sure about the CAN situation. The scan tool cost around $150 when I bought mine back in 2000. The catch is you must buy modules for each application. Figure about $300 total.

This is cheaper than using a more expensive snap-on tool which are of course superior.
