Distributor Contact Corresion
My engine has became difficult to start so I pulled my distributor cap off and noticed a green corrision on all my contact points. I am running MSD Billit Distributor, MSD 6AL Box, Vibration Proof Blaster Coil with 8mm Taylor Plug wires and Autolite 3924 plugs.
I scraped away most of the corrision and was wondering if anyone has ever used some dielectric silicone on these parts? It is almost like I am getting electrolocis (sp) from a poor ground. Have any of you noticed anything like this? If so what did you do about it?
