Default New Fuel Pump...No Fuel Pressure! HELP!

Just put a new Holley "Blue" Electric fuel pump in, as well as a new filter and new regulator and new line at the carb with an inline gauge...

I got it all wired and plumbed and everythings good...the pump is definately, running but i'm getting absolutely no fuel? does the pump need to be primed somehow?

I'm lost!

Default Check

Hi,
I would check the polarity of the fuel pump,is the positive going to the right connection?
Is the fuel flow outlet pointing towards the engine?
Also the pump should be below the gas tank, you could temporarilly try it lower.
Last but not least,is there gas in the tank? don't laugh it's happened !
Good luck,
Perry.

I had a Holley pump (black) for years and had nothing but problems with it. However, I did solve the problem last year. Here's what you do:

1) Disconnect fuel lines from pump and regulator (if it's also a Holley)
2) Remove pump and regulator
3) THROW THEM AWAY!
4) Buy an Aeromotive pump and regulator
5) Install pump and regulator
6) Connect fuel lines
7) Forget about it.....

Hi,
I forgot to mention that you should try taking the fuel presure regulator out of the line,I've seen them stuck closed.
