Custom front hub material
I am about to start the process of making one piece front knock off hubs, and my engineer is researching what grade material to use. I requested 4340 but this is hard to machine and maybe overkill!
Using Trigo hub adapters on the rear, these bolt on to the T/bird flangle, tested them for hardness and they are just ordinary mild steel, and all they have to do is be strong enough for the knock off nut, as the drive is done through the pins, I am a bit disappointed these hubs arent made out of something a bit better quality but I guess thats all thats necessary, and they have the machining process to consider and pricing.
