A number of the 90" wheel base cars can fit a close to 6' guy without a problem, some not so easy. Being able to move the SEAT back far enough is generally the key. Some cars don't have an adjustable seat. You COULD reposition the seat (drill new holes, remount) but I prefer an adjustable one. You'll be fine in a 90" wheel base in general. I'm right at 6' and do NOT have my seat all the way back! However, I like to wear the right SHOES when I drive it! Large shoes or boots (and flip flops, I'm in Hawaii after all) are all out of the question! I find a modest pair of tennis shoes works best.

I drove a slab side Aurora replica (no longer made, was from Canada) and was surprised how 'tiny' it was compared to my ERA! I assume it was made close to original specs (length\width), man those slab sides WERE small!

You might want to give Peter P a call at ERA in New Brittain CT.

I just picked up ERA number 714 from them and I cannot tell you how great they have been so far. I am 6 feet 1, 250 lbs and they made sure the fit was there. They go out of their way to help and yet make sure you end up with a kit that has great re-sale value as it is so true to the original.

I had an aluminum block FE 427 built from Danbury Perfromance Engines and that has also been an equally great experience.

I am still putting things together, but the guys at ERA have been doing this so well for so long they really have it down. My two cents.

David Orr

Good luck!!
