I tend to agree with Tim...your front shocks/or springs may be too long. Going to dropped spindles really won't gain you a lot other than a big hit in the billfold and time spent installing them and then time spent tuning the suspension.
I went from 10" front springs on my QA-1's to 9"...this $ 70 change dropped the front end about 1 1/2". Actually improved the handling and improved the "look". Simple, cost effective fix ...at least for me.
