Default rear bumper hoop measurement?

Does any one have the measurement from the body grommet holes to the rear bumper hoop mounting holes? This is for a street 427 Cobra, original specs, scratch build. In other words......... how far out does the rear hoop stick out from the body???
Make sense?
Dave

futher enough, so that the trunk lid or latch handle doesn't hit the hoop, my hoop curves out between the bumpers, the outer edges of the hoop are about three inches from the body, I have an electric trunk release so I don't have a handle

Mine are right at 4" out and my hoops curve out as mentioned above. I have enough clearance for the tag and handle, but I am not sure if mine is the correct clearance if yo want to be exactly like the originals were. I just set mine until they cleared as I wasn't worried about originality.
