Borgeson steering vibration damper.

Has anyone used this before? I'm wondering if this would help with the over 60mph vibration I get in the steering wheel.

Yes, I've had the tires road force balanced and the wheels checked. I believe just the little flat spot from sitting in the garage is enough to shake the steering wheel.

I have the Flaming River equivalent. It works fine. Steering is tight and precise with no vibrations.

looks like a great idea. I allways am feeling something in the road and thinking something is wrong .Peace of mind is a good thing.

The Flaming River unit is used by many with great reviews. Flaming River manufactures an entire line of steering related components of very high quality. I would go in that direction.

I went the other way (what's new?)

I removed the 3rd u-joint in my steering shaft and discovered a new car! With only two u-joints the steering became more precise and responsive. It's great.

There was also a vibration that I had not noticed before.

Close examination revealed a front tire that had got flatspotted at Gainesville

New front tires made it perfect again.

The old setup hid the symptom.

My point is, if there's a vibration, maybe there's a reason

I don't see a steering damper product at their site ? What do you have ? Does it have a part s number ?

I put one on my car a couple of years ago. The results are very subtle. I doubt it would make a significant difference if you have vibration issues. Precision alignment and balance is better. If you're running BFGs, they have a tendency to be a bit "inprecise".
