Default Not the Cobra but my F150

OK guys, heres the scoop.....my 2001 F150 with 62000 miles just started acting up.. ...running real rough....a buddy who is a full time mecanek said probably the 02 or IAC sensor.....took it to Auto Zone and Advance Auto this AM and both read the computer (after some argument since there was not a "Check Engine" light on and they both said their computer would not read anything if it wasn't) and both said, MUCH TO THEIR SUPRISE, Misfire Detected on Cylinder 1......so, now my question.....Is it the Plug, the Plug Wire, or Something Else......what do you EXPERTS say???????????

Check if each cylinder has its own coil. If it does, the individual coil may be bad.

Did I mention that the problem is intermittent......comes and goes......maybe a dirty throttle body, specially since I park in a dirt lot at work and the inside of my engine compartment looks like a desert....all good suggestions and tomorrow when the engine is nice and cooooooool I'll see if I can figure it out....thanks for the suggestions on here and on First Coast Cobra Club.....

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the saga continues......I cleaned the throttle body as good as I could and ran a bottle of gum out injector cleaner through the system......took it out on I-95 and gave it a gooooooood run......all seemed to be well....then took it to the auto parts store and lo and behold, no codes found....then, since I had noticed it dragging a bit once in a while when I started it, just in the last week, I asked them to check the battery, alternator, and starter......went to start it and errrrrr, errrrrr, errrrrr, would not start.....removed the battery and took it inside and on the machine it showed a short in the battery....OK, trucks 2001 with original FORD battery, sooooooooooo, a new battery was purchased...another test drive and no other problems were noted....hopefully its fixed now

However, I must tell you of another GREMLIN that has entered my life.....about a week ago I went outside and started the truck, went back in for a moment, and upon returning found the truck locked....oppppps, must have acciently locked it....then later that day I started the truck and the doors immediately locked...hmmmmmmmmm, never done that before...shut it off, unlocked the doors and nothing.....hmmmmmmm, maybe I'm going wacky.....next morning got in truck and started it and doors immediately locked....bout jumped outta my shorts......I've started the truck about 10 more times since then and it has locked itself 3 or 4 of those times go figure...........................
