I would just reuse what you have and torque to spec.
If you're concerned about really putting some power down, you could always put in a set of ARP studs. I just installed a set on my 1990 Mustang when I switched gears.

Blykins,
I have purchased some studs ARP 250-3004, I see the original bolts are 70-85ftIbs, from what I can gather 70ftIbs for an alloy pumpkin, and up to 85ftIbs for a cast IRS unit. I am actually wondering what you chaps torque these studs down to with the 1/2" UNF thread on the outer end?
If anyone can contribute information on whether the Aluminium 8.8 has different setup clearances etc than a Cast iron 8.8, I would appreciate it, as all the information I have found doesnt differentiate between the two materials options!
